Review: VeeBeautyLDN

Happy New Year!! I’m so excited for 2018, this year is going to be good I can just feel it!

My first post of this year is going to be a review on the lovely products I’ve received off the amazing VeeBeautyLDN!

*all views are my own*

I received the Lash & Brow serum, Cocoa Butter Moisturising Lip Balm and Minty Moment Moisturising Lip Balm.

I’m so grateful to the owner of VeeBeautyLDN as she was really friendly and lovely to approach. I will leave her contact details at the end so please do check her out!

Lash & Brow Serum

How to use

For eyelashes – use at night, apply with the wand as close to the lash root as possible.

For eyebrows – apply the oil onto your finger and massage into the eyebrows in a circular motion.

What does it contain?

Caster oil, Argan oil, Vitamin E and Avocado oil

Does it work?

Yes!!!! Ive used lash serums before and have had no luck at all, after using this for a month I’ve seen a big difference in the length, thickness and health of my lashes, they feel soft but not brittle like they did before. I haven’t used it on my eyebrows as of yet but I’m sure it’ll do the same to them!

My rating

5/5! I 100% recommend this serum if you want longer and healthier lashes!

Cocoa Butter Moisturising Lip Balm

What does it contain?

Beeswax, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, coconut oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E and vanilla essence oil.

Does it work?

Yes! I use this every night and my lips have never been so smooth and moisturised and trust me I’ve tried a lot of lip balms! This is probably my most favourite of them all!

My rating

5/5 again, I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a Lip Balm that keeps your lips in good condition.

Minty Moment Moisturising Lip Balm

What does it contain?

Beeswax, coconut oil, Shea butter, sweet almond oil, mango butter, vitamin E and peppermint oil.

Does it work?

Again this is yes, seriously these lip balms are amazing! I use this one every morning as it helps my mouth feel fresh after brushing my teeth and keeps my lips feeling moisturised for hours! Only needing to re-apply it once during the day! (I work with children so am outside a lot)

My Rating

5/5! I stand by what I said in my rating of the other lip balm, I highly recommend this Lip Balm! It’s very refreshing and does exactly what it says it does, I’m in love with the quality of these products.

BLOGMAS – DAY 21 – December Favourites

Hey guys,

Welcome to the 21st day of my blogmas! Only 4 days left! Today’s post is going to be my favourite products from this month!

So let’s get started!

Body care

Sleepy, mask of magnamity, snow fair body conditioner from Lush and VeeBeautyLdn’s eyelash and eyebrow serum and two lip balms. I love using all of these, definitely would recommend for you guys to try it out!

The body scrub by what’s in it for me, smells edible and leaves your skin feeling incredible! (Haha rhymes)

Fragrance

So fragrance were kind enough to gift me with these beauties at the Blogosphere Christmas festival last weekend and they all smell so lovely! So affordable and pretty! You can purchase these from most boots stores and would make great stocking fillers!

Face mask

Im loving this face mask at the moment! You can check out my full review on L’Oréal’s pure clay masks here.

Makeup

This is a recent buy of mine from Urban Decay and it is the Heavy Metal palette. Don’t let this picture fool you, this palette is HUGE well.. in comparison to their other palettes. I swatched it in the shop and bought it then and there that’s how much I loved it! Will do some looks using it soon!

Hair care

I was also luckily enough to be gifted these at the Blogosphere Christmas festival too by Ogx! I LOVE their hair products! Been using their shampoo and conditioners for maybe 2 years now, my hair definitely thanks me for it!

Books

This is my favourite book of this month! I love it! Check out my review for it here.

Netflix

These are my two favourite series at the moment, not just for this month but they’re what I’m watching this month! If you haven’t seen either or any of them I definitely suggest that you should!!

BLOGMAS – DAY 19 – Things to do in London at Christmas

Hey guys,

Today is the 19th day of my blogmas and I can’t believe how fast it’s gone!

I hope you’re all having a lovely Tuesday so far!

It’s amazing how much more there is to do during Christmas time, of course this depends on where you live but if you’re like me and live in London you’ll know there is SO much to do! And I never seem to be able to do it all in one year! By the end of the season I’m always saying to myself “I will make sure that I do that next Christmas” and the list in my head just gets longer and longer….

So let’s get started!

Here are some things that you can do in London at Christmas time:

Winter Wonderland– this is my favourite place to visit at Christmas time! If you’ve never been but live close enough too then you definitely should! There’s so many things to do and see!

Here are some pictures from when I went earlier this month.

Carnaby Street – I’ve only been here once but I loved it! It’s more carnival style than Christmassy but is so beautiful, so many colours! Here are some pictures from when I went.

• Christmas Markets – these are the BEST at Christmas time! They help you feel festive and have such cute and unique little gifts that are good for yourself or others. There are quite a few Christmas markets in London, here are the ones that I know of:
• winter wonderland
• south bank
• Leicester Square
• North Greenwich

Kew Garden Christmas Lights – I’m actually going here tomorrow with Graham, can’t wait! Keep your eyes peeled out on my Instagram to see pictures of it!

Oxford Street Lights – you are bound to see the Christmas lights at Oxford Street at least once if you live in London! This year they have used angles which is really sweet and pretty!

Ice skating – whether this be at Somerset house, winter wonderland, Queensway or just any of those pop up ice rinks; ice skating is a must do activity in the winter! You’re already wrapped up so you might as well!

Of course there are lots of other things to do during Christmas time in London, there are websites that show events that are going on in London all you have to do is google!

BLOGMAS – DAY 18 – Christmas treats

Hey guys,

Welcome to day 18 of my Blogmas! I hope you’re enjoying it so far!

Today’s post is a different one for me as it’s food related and I’ve never done one like this before so fingers crossed!

Correct me if I’m wrong but one of the best parts of Christmas is eating! That includes of course the Christmas dinner itself but also chocolates and baked goodies all through December. And of course you can buy these goodies from a coffee shop, bakery or your local supermarket but nothing is more satisfying (and fun) than making them yourself!

This year I haven’t done much baking as such at home but have done at work with the children! We have made snowmen banana cake, star jam sandwiches and shortbread cookies decorated as snowflakes; I think I enjoyed it more than the kids did! (Oops)

I absolutely love Pinterest for recipes for treats such as these, here are a few of my favourites down below:

There are so many different ideas out there! Just google or Pinterest it and you’ll find so many good ideas!

BLOGMAS – DAY 17 – Favourite parts of 2017

Hey guys,

Welcome to my 17th Blogmas post and happy Sunday!

In today’s post I will be reflecting on the past year and the best parts of it.

2017 wasn’t a perfect year and it has had its downs but I prefer to focus on the positive parts. Christmas is such a busy time but I also think it’s the right time to have some down time to reflect, which is what I done for this post.

So here are my favourite parts of 2017:

• Starting a new relationship with Graham. I can’t say meeting Graham cos I met him in 2016, but since us starting our relationship I’ve never felt happier. I’m not going to go into all the soppy details cos he knows exactly why he makes me happy.

• Starting my new job at the school, since working here I’ve realised you don’t have to be stressed at your job and you can have fun! I love the people I work with and I love what I do, 2017 wouldn’t of been nearly as good if I didn’t get this job.

• Starting this blog is another big favourite. Thanks to having a blog I’ve met some amazing people who are so kind and lovely and have helped me so much even without realising it.

• The gigs I went to this year, I haven’t got the best memory but to the best of my memory I’m sure that I’ve seen all time low, you me at six, Ed Sheeran and Sean Paul this year as well as going to the summertime ball.

• Going to Cyprus with my best friend and her parents. I love going on holiday and the weather was so nice, we did loads of nice things and made some wonderful memories.

• Going to Bournemouth and Brighton with Graham. Those two little trips made big memories.

• Going to the Harry Potter Studio Tour because I LOVE Harry Potter and it was a truly magical experience which I’m going to relive next week yay! Check out my post on my experience here.

BLOGMAS DAY 14 – Festive Lush Haul

Hey guys,

Welcome to day 14 of my blogmas! I can’t believe it’s been two weeks already! It’s absolutely flown by!

Linking back to yesterday’s post one of the main ingredients to a true pamper session is of course …..(drumroll please)…..a bath bomb!

And where better to get a bathbomb than lush?!
